Markdown Here is a Firefox, Thunderbird and Google Chrome add-on that prettifies your emails for you.
Specifically, Markdown Here allows you to write an email in Markdown and render it (make it pretty) before sending.
This is great for anyone who doesn't like fiddling around with formatting buttons while writing an email. Also, it's especially useful for programmers who write email with code in them.
Usage:
· Write your email in your email client's rich editor using Markdown.
· Right-click in the compose area and then click "Markdown Toggle".
· Your email is now pretty! (That is, it's been rendered to HTML.)
· If you like the way it looks, just send it. If you want to change or add something, click "Markdown Toggle" again to get back to your original Markdown. Rinse and repeat.
Markdown Here is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
Requirements:
· Firefox 11.0 and later or
· Thunderbird 6.0 and later or
· Google Chrome
