Prostetnic highlighter is an easy-to-use web page highlighter for Firefox. Simply select the text you want to highlight, select marker color, and the add-on will set the background color.

What's more, Prostetnic highlighter remembers your highlights and automatically retrieves them when the same URL is loaded at a later time.

Prostetnic highlighter is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
