uTorrent Status Tool is a very easy to use Firefox add-on that will display the µTorrent status in your browser and offers support for single-click torrent submission.
uTorrent Status Tool add-on displays the status of uTorrent running locally or any network or web-accessible location.
uTorrent Status Tool has an icon or text label in the status bar (or add-on bar) showing whether the server is available and a summary of its activity.
Numbers of seeds and peers are shown, together with the number of up and down connections and the overall upload and download speeds. There is also a configurable summary list of torrents as a tree tooltip from the status bar in full mode or the context menu in compact mode.
Up to three separate uTorrent servers can be configured although currently only one will be monitored at once. Anybody need three toolbar buttons?
Torrents can be added simply by clicking on a (non-authenticated) torrent file or magnet link. Magnet links are added more reliably and quickly since no additional download is required.
uTorrent Status Tool extension is designed with token authorization for security, all utserver access from an XPCOM component for better performance with lots of windows or tabs, and a highly configurable interface to suit your taste.
The uTorrent Status Tool add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
